Yesterday was Kati's 8th birthday. Happy birthday sweetheart. The family is getting together tomorrow to celebrate her birthday.

Look what came in the mail yesterday. I won this book over at Smiling Sally's . Thanks so much Sally. I grabbed this graphic at Carmindy's website. I knew if I waiting until I took a picture of the book it would be another week before I got this posted. Check out the website to see some great before and after photos. I'm looking forward to diving into this book so I can look "positively beautiful" for the holidays!!! It's going to take more than this book for that to happen. lol

I received an email this morning from my dear friend Jill who is not a blogger. I've been trying to talk her into starting a blog because she loves to write and has so many interests that readers would be looking forward to hearing about all her adventures. Jill's sister, whom I've never met, reads my blog. Janey doesn't blog, she only reads mine and perhaps others. Janey, you need to start a blog too. Maybe when you are visiting Jill I could sit down with both of you and get a blog started for both of you.
